RICH REWARDS: Marilyn Monroe’s favourite dessert, the Ice Cream Sundae, has been interpreted by Geoffrey Michael Patissier as part of a six-course Epicurean Adventure with cocktails at MAMA on Saturday night.

Marilyn Monroe was a foodie ahead of her time.

She shopped for market-fresh produce, lovedartichokes andcarrots and had a sweet spot for sundaes.

MAMA will host a Marilyn MonroeEpicurean Adventure at the Dean Street gallery on Saturday.

Thesix-course signature menu wasbased on Marilyn’s favourite food.

Highlights includeThe Fire Ball –abeef slider with Swiss cheese,spinach, tomato andhot sauce –andJoltin’ Joe Dimaggio – a chilli dawg with capsicum, cheese andjalapeno andchipotle sauce.

Let’s Make it Legal isa buffalo chicken salad withcelery, spring onion blue cheese dressingwhileSome Like it Hot issalt andpepper squid, tortillas, Chinese leaves and tomato, onion andcapsicum salsa.

Geoffrey Michael Patissier will create Marilyn’s favourite dessert, the Ice Cream Sundae. White chocolate mousse is dipped in white chocolate, a white chocolate skirt, topped with a passionfruit cream dome glazed with mango, a sprinkle of coconut and a vanilla chantilly drop.

The dinner runs from6.30pm until late.
