With just days until the boutique festival brings the likes of Violent Soho, Spiderbait and the Preatures to Burns Creek in Tasmania’s North-East, music lovers are scrambling to snap up the remaining overnight tickets.

“At this stage we’ve got about 180 camping tickets left so we’re almost sold out, we’re looking at a projection of 5000 campers and then day ticketholders and our crew,” PITP production manager Ryan Limb said.

The festival’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness will also take a new form this year with the creation of Vibestown Village, a dedicated area set up for patrons to engage with mental health.

“We’ve got Headspace coming, we’ve got some of the Hawks players coming on Saturday to come and hang out for beyondblue, it’s going to be a really good atmosphere this year.”
